Els Colors Park

Inaugurated in 2001, it is the posthumous work of architect Enric Miralles. The aim of its design was to connect the Santa Rosa, Plana Lledó and Can Borrell districts, all extremely different, creating a spacious meeting place with several entrances.

The park’s layout is intimately linked to the city’s history, as its different areas represent various aspects of Mollet: its industrial past, with brick walls; the agricultural city, through the park’s wooded areas; the young, urban city, with tall concrete and steel structures and graffiti; and the city established on the banks of the Besós River, with an area of fountains and water features.
