Mollet del Vallès is located just 20 km from Barcelona, a city to which is it connected via a number of communication routes and both public and private transportation systems. It is the main hub in the Vallès Oriental region’s metropolitan area, known as Baix Vallès.

AP-7 motorway

 

Exit 15, heading south, Mollet del Vallès Centre, which links to Avinguda d’Antoni Gaudí, the city’s main thoroughfare. Northbound, there is another exit in the Can Borrell district, exit 16, Mollet del Vallès Nord. Exit 17, Mollet del Vallès Sud, links to Carretera de Caldes de Montbui and CIM Vallès.

 

C-33 motorway

 

Exit 1 links to the C-59, direction Caldes de Montbui, and Avinguda de Burgos. Exit 2, in Parets, provides access to the industrial areas.

The northern exit provides access to Carrer de Can Flequer and the Can Prat and Can Magarola industrial estates, as well as the industrial area of Martorelles. The southern exit merges with Avinguda de Badalona and the B-500.

 

B-500

 

Carretera de la Conreria, which connects Mollet to Badalona, leads to Plaça de Pau Casals, which has an underground parking lot opposite City Hall.

Road axis that connects the C-33 and A-7 motorways to Mollet, Palau-solità i Plegamans, Caldes de Montbui and other municipalities in the Vallès region. There are several ways to reach Mollet from this road.

Former local carriageway between Mollet and Santa Perpètua de Mogoda and the continuation of Avinguda de Rafael Casanova.

The Sagalés bus company runs an express bus line between Mollet and Barcelona, with buses every 20’ in both directions and stops in Granollers and other towns and cities in the Vallés region. There is also a line between Badalona and Sabadell, which connects Mollet to these cities, as well as Martorelles and Sant Fost de Campsentelles. There is a night bus that connects Mollet to Barcelona and Granollers.

R-2 North local line (Airport - Sant Celoni).

The Mollet-Sant Fost Station is a 10-minute walk from the city centre. It has an urban bus and taxi stop, as well as a secure closed cycle parking facility open every day of the year.

R-3 local line (Barcelona - Puigcerdà).

The Mollet-Santa Rosa Station is a 10-minute walk from the city centre. It has an urban bus stop.

R-8 local line (Mollet - Castellbisbal - El Papiol).

The Mollet-Sant Fost Station is a 10-minute walk from the city centre. It has an urban bus and taxi stop.

The Barcelona-El Prat Airport is 35 km from Mollet by road. On the local train line, it takes one hour to reach the city from the airport. The Girona-Costa Brava Airport, in Vilobí d’Onyar, is 78 km from Mollet and is only accessible via private transport.

The Port of Barcelona is 22 km from Mollet by road. There are a number of public transportation options with extended operating hours from the port and the city of Barcelona.

Heading down the GR-92 long-distance footpath, which crosses the coastal hills of the Serralada de Marina, it takes approximately 3 hours to walk from La Conreria to Mollet, through the residential areas of Martorelles and Sant Fost. The path through Gallecs (GR 97-3) links the GR-92 to the GR-97 and crosses the city of Mollet.
