A collection of sculptures made from both polished and oxidised metal. Posthumous work by an artist with close ties to Mollet and which was completed by his associate, Josep Nogué, and largely funded by citizens.

The monument depicts four people on a staircase: an elderly man and woman, going down, and a girl and boy, going up. It symbolises the succession of the generations and the passage of time.

The sculpture sits opposite the Senior Centre, in honour of the elderly.
