Monument commissioned by the Municipal Council in memory of the people who died during the fascist bombings of 1938 and 1939 in Mollet. The deadliest attack, the one on the area known as Quatre Cantons, claimed the life of 16 people.

Etched into the monument are the names of these people, along with an inscription in memory of “the people of Mollet killed in other bombed cities.”

As part of the project to remodel the enclosure of the Can Mulà Park, this monument was installed at the Park’s new entrance.

A hole and a series of stainless steel plates arranged in the form of a star symbolise the explosion of a bomb, and the vertical corten steel plates, the blast.
