Sculpture of a cast steel dove on a cylindrical stainless steel base, commissioned by the Central District Residents’ Association and Cultural Centre of Mollet in commemoration of the millennial anniversary of Catalonia’s political independence, which is considered to have been achieved in 988, when Count Borrell of Barcelona stopped paying homage to the first French king of the Capetian dynasty.

The foremost wing bears the inscription Millennium of Catalonia, while the feathers on the other wing recall the four bars of the Catalan flag.
