A 9-metre-long steel sculpture in the shape of a fish, an allusion to the mullet from the city’s coat of arms, located on the ground floor of the Can Mulà-Jordi Solé Tura Library.

Part of the sculpture passes through the wall of the building and juts out from the main façade. On each side of the mullet’s tail, opposite the circulation desk, in the children’s area, are two projections that simulate fins and serve as benches.

This sculpture, together with a natural olive tree, a traditional symbol of peace and prosperity, form a singular and enjoyable place for recreation and reading.
