Discover Gallecs, the rural and natural Mollet
Gallecs is a place where the conservation of nature and traditional agriculture goes hand in hand with leisure and environmental education activities. Discovering Gallecs constitutes a series of four signposted walking and cycling routes that start at the Romanesque church, where there is a parking lot, and follow paths verging upon grain fields, vegetable gardens, vineyards, ponds, streams, farmhouses and forests. Astonishing enclaves in the part of Mollet protected due to its environmental quality and the value of its native fauna. Visitors can get there from Mollet on foot across two pedestrian bridges that span the motorway or by car, via AP-7 exits 15 and 16. Gallecs is today the green lung of the lower Vallès region, a healthy natural area in which visitors can engage in physical activities such as walking, running and cycling.
