Les Pruneres Park

This park, which opened in late 2011, is one of the city’s most centrally-located parks and boasts 20 ha of garden area. It forms a large meadow, which lends the area a unique microclimate during the summer. There are forested areas with different species, among which we find plum trees, the park’s namesake. It also offers excellent views of the coastal mountains and the bell tower of the Sant Vicenç Church.

The park is also home to a large children’s play area with inclusive playground equipment and a large arch/fountain, which emits a refreshing curtain of water where children can cool down in the summer. At one of the entrances stands a scale replica of the Mollet Menhir, as the real menhir was unearthed during construction of the park in 2009.
