29 April is International Dance Day, an event which Mollet celebrates throughout the week with the city’s dance schools and students from the primary schools and the Municipal School of Music and Dance.

The Can Mulà and Les Pruneres parks host performances that bring this often-overlooked artistic discipline closer to the public and help showcase its value.

Performances by individuals such as the Mollet-native ballerina and choreographer Núria Guiu, winner of the 2022 National Culture Award, the country’s most prestigious cultural distinction, highlight the calibre of the shows on offer.
