Street Sport Festival
The Street Sport Festival, brainchild of the Municipal Council and the city’s sports associations, is one of Mollet del Vallès’ most prominent sporting events.
The Festival takes place on Avinguda de la Llibertat, in the centre of Mollet, over the course of one morning. Various stations are set up along the avenue and feature a host of different disciplines (mini tennis, 3-on-3 football, children’s motorcycles, athletics, hockey, basketball, etc.), the aim of which is to introduce people to different sports.
Over the years, the Festival has become one of the most deeply rooted and popular sporting activities in the city. It is mainly intended for children and adolescents aged five and over. The first edition was held in 1993, following the Olympic Games.
