A cast iron sculpture on a concrete pedestal bearing the embossed inscription Mollet, in memory of Rafael Casanova. 11 September 1979, who served as commander in chief of Barcelona during the War of Spanish Succession in 1714. It also features symbols of Mollet, such as the fish from the Mollet coat of arms, the four bars of the Catalan flag, the bust of Rafael Casanova and two clasped hands.
