Responsible tourism
The Decalogue for Responsible Tourism in Mollet del Vallès and Gallecs contains a series of recommendations and advice related to the 11 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations most directly related to tourism. Mollet Town Council has been working for several years to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. The creation of the Decalogue for Responsible Tourism in Mollet del Vallès and Gallecs is in line with this, focusing on the aspects most directly related to tourism. For this reason, since 2021, the City Council has held the Biosphere certification, a recognition of the promotion of tourism aligned with the protection of ecosystems, peace, cultural exchange, the reduction of inequalities, respect for diversity and the fight against climate change.
