This sculpture was unveiled to commemorate Mollet’s nomination as City of Giants, on 3 May 2003. That day, the sculpture, occupying a central position, was joined by hundreds of giants from around Catalonia.
Cylindrical and five-and-a-half-metres-tall, this sculpture portrays a traditional giant character.
It is made from oxidised iron and is unique in that it pivots and rotates on its axis, like a giant while dancing. On the grass, at the foot of the sculpture, there is a circular furrow, dug by the children while spinning it.
